Subject RE: [users@httpd] Q: Error 500 on Non-UTF-8 encoded SEARCHPART (REDIRECT_QUERY_STRING)
Date Fri, 01 Apr 2005 17:28:38 GMT
Hi Eric!

I'd say so
- IE 6.0.2800.1106 with option 'always send URLs as UTF-8
- Firefox 1.0 (windows and linux)

But is that really the problem? Even if I do not send UTF-8, the apache
might want to send the searchpart to the webpage and let it deal with
it(?) the log tells me that the conversion takes place:

<snip>
(22)Invalid argument: utf8 to ucs2 conversion failed on this string:
REDIRECT_QUERY_STRING=aPart=author&aLang=all&aSearch=m\xfcller-werner
