Does one have to upgrad entire Apache install X-Spam-Rating: minotaur.apache.org 1.6.2 0/1000/N Thanks for the update. I'll be doing a dynamic compile. Though so far have been unsuccessful in finding docs on how to just upgrade mod_ssl. mod_ssl docs would be where? I found reference to mod_ssl here but when I click on the link 'Source File' no expected source file or download option appears. >>> jslive@gmail.com 3/24/2005 8:24:55 AM >>> On Mon, 21 Mar 2005 14:27:21 -0700, Charlie Smith wrote: > What is best way to upgarde mod_ssl? If you didn't, then you need to check whether mod_ssl is compiled statically or dynamicall. If you have a LoadModule line in httpd.conf for mod_ssl, then it is dynamically compiled, and you can most likely upgrade it without upgrading the rest of the server, as long as you are only doing a minor version change. Check the mod_ssl docs on how to use apxs. Joshua. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
