Yes, indeed. I should really use another mail agent than Outlook which removes what it considers
as extraneous lineshifts...

Chances are however that there is a <IfDefine SSL> missing at the top of the ssl.conf
file. That variable is defined by apachectl whenever you invoke it with "startssl" as argument.

In any case, a mismatched </IfDefine>
