Subject [users@httpd] Local installation: Start Apache by request only
Date Sat, 12 Feb 2005 17:17:58 GMT
Hi folks,

I'm thinking about ways to save some resources on my local computer.
Actally I think there must be a way to start my web server plus the mysql
daemon using inetd or something similar.

However I don't know if Apache2 is made for that (reading "upgrading.html"
in the manual, one reads that "there is currently no MPM designed to be
launched by inetd".

So what can I do? How are you dealing with this?

Thanks for comments
