As a friend of mine likes to point out, acronyms are supposed to be a 
"shortcut" to describe something in a quicker way. However, it's ironic 
that the acronym 'www' itself takes longer to pronounce than the phrase 
it was intended to replace 'world wide web' (9 syllables vs 3)...
