Subject RE: [users@httpd] Virtual Hosting Causing Server to not start

In the event log there is 1 reference to "service-specific error 1".

Checking from the command line confirms Syntax OK
Uncommenting vhost section defines vhosts as default on line XXX
And other on line 978.
Syntax OK.

Yet, when starting the service from cmd with vhost section enabled, system
fails to start.

Commenting them out - system starts fine.

It's a mystery!

Those are all from the last run.

Either look in the windows event log for the real error, or start
apache on the command line rather than from the service panel to see
it.
