Subject [users@httpd] Apache2: proxy: error reading ...
Date Thu, 30 Dec 2004 09:09:25 GMT
Hi all,

we have problems with Apache 2.0.47 on Red Hat 7.3.
2 servers, apache is on server 1 and handels all requests for
our application an server 1 and server 2.

The server is usually running but hangs once a week or so (no
error-messages on the client-side, apache is just not responding
to browser requests). Restarting apache helps for a couple of days.

Our Error-Log is full of messages like:

... proxy: error reading status line from remote server localhost ...
... proxy: Error reading from remote server returned by /xy/

Does anybody know what that means? Coukd it be related to
the mentioned apache problem?

Thanks and best regards
G
