Subject [users@httpd] Trying to Redirect a URL from Mod_auth_external
Date Tue, 16 Nov 2004 17:17:16 GMT

We have an external authentication program that we call using the hard
coded authentication funtion of Mod_Auth_External.

In one case, if the password expired, we want to send the person to a
different web page.

In the module under apache 1.3 we used to do the following.

r->status=301;
apr_table_addn(r->headers_out, "Location",password_expired_url );
return(1); //authentication failed

But this doesnt work anymore.

Can anyone tell me a way to get this redirect to work using the apache2
api?

Thanks!
Gregg
