Subject [users@httpd] Virtual Host trouble
Date Thu, 11 Nov 2004 10:47:48 GMT
Hi,

I've read the documentation on apache 2 but I still can't seem to get this to work. I have
one main website that was the default and decided to add a 2nd website on the same IP and
use a virtual host. This broke both the websites and I then read the manual which told me
to add the original website as a virtual. I've done that and now my original site works but
the 2nd one doesn't.

This is the relevant part of httpd.conf that I've changed showing the two virtual hosts:

NameVirtualHost 10.2.15.89:80

<VirtualHost _default_:80>
ServerName www.jacklemon.com
DocumentRoot /var/www/html
<Directory "/var/www/cgi-bin/openwebmail/">
</directory>
ScriptAlias /webmail "/var/www/cgi-bin/openwebmail/openwebmail.pl"
Alias /data "/var/www/data"
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerAdmin matthew@jacklemon.com
    DocumentRoot /var/www/alcatraz
    ServerName alcatraz.jacklemon.com
</VirtualHost>

Any help gratefully appreciated :)

Thanks,

Matt
