Nope, I've changed nothing.  However, now that I'm home and not on my work 
network, Port 444 works for me as well.  I suspect there's something at 
work that's messing up Port 444 interaction (like a firewall).

No, and I had not tried telnet-ing to the port and issue http commands like 
you do below.  I'll put that away in my bag of tricks (even though I'm new 
to web sysadmin, I should have known better; this is how I debug my email 
server).
