Subject Re: [users@httpd] Apache/Tomcat problem

Guillaume,

 I don´t know how to solve your problem, but I use mod_proxy to access
my Tomcat/JBoss applications over port 80:

<VirtualHost xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80>
    ServerName www.domain.com
    ProxyPass /portal http://localhost:8080/portal
    ProxyPassReverse /portal  http://localhost:8080/portal
    ErrorLog /var/log/apache/portal_error_log
    CustomLog /var/log/apache/portal_access_log common
</VirtualHost>

 I works fine for me, check it out.

Fabricio.
