I disagree - XP is rubbish for servers - the opsys is so damned huge no mem
left for much else.

Being realistic - Linux is probably the better option, however being a
windows person myself, i would recommend 2000. Simple - quick and few
complications. I have 5 win2000 servers myself. And to contradict many
others, I ran apache on windows 98 successfully for over 3 years. A word of
advice - NEVER go to the latest version of any version of windows-
especially XP. Let other people find all the bugs first, THEN move to it
when its more stable (reason I have just moved to 2000). I dont "beta test"
for anyone.

Yes, you need to get out from behind the router, and you need to
upgrade your server to Windows XP!  This is the latest version, and
the best...It is based on NT, so it works great for servers, and it is
affordable.
