Subject [users@httpd] .htaccess,SSL,proxy question
Date Thu, 14 Oct 2004 19:38:40 GMT
Hi. It would seem to be possible that one could combine
basic auth over an SSL in a secure fashion via the usage
of the proxy modules? Please alert if incorrect with respect
to certificate handling.
The actual objective is to permit user created and
account dependent .htaccess files to employ basic auth
in a secure fashion over SSL. So the thought was to
on a single system proxy between ports 80 and 443, via
localhost address if need be.
Please suggest obvious logical bugs in the sequence.
Thanks.

regards

Joe
