Date Wed, 27 Oct 2004 15:17:02 GMT

Hi List -
I am running Apache/2.0.43 on Solaris 8.
I am getting the following messages in the error log..
[error] [client x.x.x.x] request failed: error reading the header
[error] (12)Not enough space: fork: Unable to fork new process
[info] server seems busy, (you may need to increase StartServers, or
Min/MaxSpareServers), spawning 8 children, there are 2 idle, and 148 total
...and then when I shut down the web server...
[warn] child process 12383 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM
[warn] child process 12386 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM ...183 of
these messages
[info] removed PID file /usr/local/apache_2.0.43/logs/ (pid=10172)
[notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down

Any information on these things will be great.
