Subject [users@httpd] RE : SSL Session Cache Status in server-status not working
Date Wed, 27 Oct 2004 15:23:49 GMT
I do not get the info on Solaris.

Seems to me like it has to be considered as future functionality not yet released. Note the
#if 0/#endif enclosing the code sections you refer to. Maybe you could try to replace 0 by
1, recompile and see what happens?

Objet : [users@httpd] SSL Session Cache Status in server-status not working

Hi list

I am running Apache/2.0.52 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.0.52 OpenSSL/0.9.7d with a ssl vhost configured
and working. However, SSL/TLS Session Cache Status is not displayed in server-status (ExtendedStatus
On), which should be the case according to ssl_scache.c.

Session Cache settings are standard for win32 platform:

# Inter-Process Session Cache:
# Configure the SSL Session Cache: First the mechanism
# to use and second the expiring timeout (in seconds).
#SSLSessionCache none
#SSLSessionCache shmht:logs/ssl_scache(512000)
#SSLSessionCache shmcb:logs/ssl_scache(512000)
SSLSessionCache dbm:logs/ssl_scache
SSLSessionCacheTimeout 300

# Semaphore:
# Configure the path to the mutual exclusion semaphore the
# SSL engine uses internally for inter-process synchronization.
SSLMutex default

Is there anybody out there who DOES get Session Cache Info in server-status with apache 2
on a win32 platform, or should this be considered a bug?

Thanks,

Michael Straessle
