Subject Re: [users@httpd] Multiple Vhost Question
Date Thu, 14 Oct 2004 15:17:48 GMT
We have been using multiple VirtualHost directives but we
are starting to get a large number of virtual hosts that
need to be configured.

Currently we are using a Redirect directive like:

Redirect /index.html htpp://<domainname>/cc/index?page=home

The domainname part needs to be unique but the Redirect
directive doesn't allow wildcards
I was hoping that I could use some other scheme, either
mod_rewrite or mod_vhost_alias to make it easier to do the
multiple hosting.

THe biggest snag is that there is the <JRUN> module that all
of the virtual host entries need to use because our app is a
JSP/Servlet container deployed application. So calls to
index.html need to get redirected using the cc (the web
context) as part of the URL.

THanks in advance
