Subject [users@httpd] virtualhost support for the area tag
Date Tue, 26 Oct 2004 19:22:42 GMT

This is a follow-up from my earlier post.

I have a virtualhost section in my apache 1.3 httpd.conf file which points
to a website running on an Oracle oc4j server.

Everything works correctly except for the <area shape=> tags which are
used to draw the tabs and buttons on the pages.

a sample area tag looks like:

map name="map0">
<area img="foo.gif" shape="poly" coordinates="0,5,5,0" href="foo.html">

The virtualhost block from the httpd.conf file follows:

# virtual host for staccessibility
<VirtualHost *>
    ServerName staccessibility
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule (.*)\.css$1.css
    RewriteRule (.*)\.xss$1.xss [P,L]
    RewriteRule (.*)\.uix$1.uix
    RewriteRule (.*)\.uit$1.uit
    RewriteRule (.*)oraclelogo.gif [P,L]
    rewriteRule (.*)disabled3.gif [P,L]
    RewriteRule (.*)\.gif$1.gif [P,L]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$1 [P]
    RewriteLog /var/apache/logs/staccessibility-rewrite.log
    ProxyPassReverse /
    ErrorLog /var/apache/logs/staccessibility_error.log

What do I need to do to enable the shapes to be drawn when accessing the
virtual host?
