Subject [users@httpd] Cookies via reverse proxy
Date Wed, 27 Oct 2004 09:43:36 GMT
Hello list

My friend needs to do a bit of a cheat, but i'm interested in this issue as a
apache administrator.

I've set up reverse proxy with some rewrite rules (i've read how to secure my
proxy server and now proxied requests are allowed only from my friends ip).
The reverse proxy works ok, but it doesn't pass any cookies at all. Situation
is that my friend tries to log in into on-line game through my reverse proxy
and it can't since authorization uses cookies.

Here is a part of my httpd.conf:
ProxyRequests Off
<Proxy *>
        Order deny,allow
        Deny from all
        Allow from

RewriteEngine On
RewriteLogLevel 4
RewriteLog logs/rewrite.log
RewriteRule /game/images/(.+)$1 [P,QSA]
RewriteRule /game/(.+)$1 [P]

Am i missing something?
