Thanks for the response.

1.  Yes, the file is viewable from my local file system.
2.  Since the image is not being displayed in mozilla, there is no right
click-save image as option.  While exploring the directory index in
mozilla, if I right click-save target as->filename, the downloaded file
is the same text being displayed when trying to open the PNG image "The
image cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.".

The obvious questions:

- Have you tried viewing it in mozilla from the local filesystem
before uploading it?

- Have you tried saving the file to disk (right click, save-as) and
the viewing it?
