Yes it does, that is what I have it set up on both machines and I can ping either one by those
IPs.

Yes, or I would say so. I set it up so it has its own server name not to defualt to the local
host at the prompt and I set up an IP for it but that's not accessible for some reason.  But
I can ping the IP that the router sets up for the Linux box.

I want to run a test environment where I can test the web pages that I want to post.  But
somehow I cannot get the windows to access the browser on Linux and I thought it might be
the Apache conf file that needs to allow the access.
