Subject RE: [users@httpd] http redirect

Plain text please...

If you want to convert all URLs to HTTPS, you don't need mod_rewrite, a
simple Redirect will do. Basically;

- set up your SSL VH on port 443
- set up a plain HTTP VH on port 80
- the HTTP VH then contains something like:

<VH *:80>
  Redirect / https://your-site/
</VH>

Subject: [users@httpd] http redirect

Hi,

I want to redirect ALL http requests to https. I am using Apache 1.3 and
mod_ssl.
I am trying with RewriteEngine, but I can not manage to get it to work.
Please help me.

 Thanks
