Subject [users@httpd] mod_rewrite
Date Tue, 31 Aug 2004 00:57:44 GMT
So I need to redirect requests for < http://joseph-a-nagy-jr.homelinux.org >
to < http://www.joseph-a-nagy-jr.us >. Apparently I was doing it wrong ( see
below) but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do it correctly.

# RewriteEngine on
# RewriteCond %(josepha-a-nagy-jr.homelinux.org)" "|^www.joseph-a-nagy-jr.us$" [NC,OR]
# RewriteRule "(.*)" "http://www.joseph-a-nagy-jr.us$1" [R]

I've read Chapter 5 of the Apache Cookbook, checked out the Apache Pocket
Reference and the mod_rewrite guide in the Apache manual.

The above rule just gives me the following error message:

"Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load requested page.
This may be caused by cookies that are blocked."

They are commented out atm so that I can still access the URLs in question.
