Subject [users@httpd] Apache index.html

I have httpd running. Using the install that came with the OS, YDL
which is like redhat linux ported to run on a Mac. An rpm -q returns
httpd-2.0.40-21.3b. So the server returns a page I have changed my
httpd.conf, DocumentRoot to /var/www/mysite. If I type
www.mysite.com I get returned the default apache web page. If I type
www.mysite.con/index.html I get my site. I spent more time that I'd
like to admit trying to figure this out. I figure it is something
obvious so I'll let you guys have at it.
