Subject [users@httpd] .rand file always 0 byte
Date Fri, 16 Jul 2004 16:14:56 GMT
I installed openssl openssl-0.9.7d egd-0.8 prng-3.0.2 gcc.3.3. on AIX 5.1 and running
the EGD , I never found or not able to generate the random number my openssl.rnd is always
with 0 byte

So while trying to create the private key i am always getting error :PRNG not seeded:md

echo $RANDFILE
/home/eagimgr/sn8421/openssl.rnd
   ps -ef | grep egd.pl
  sn8421 647406 1179746 1 11:02:16 pts/2 0:00 grep egd.pl
  sn8421 1146950 1 0 Jul 15 - 1:01 perl -w /home/eagimgr/sn8421/perl5/bin/egd.pl
/home/eagimgr/sn8421/.gnupg/entropy
