There's another program that is using port 80 on your computer. Normally
that's due to another WebServer installed (Microsoft IIS for example);
locate which program is using port 80 or modify httpd.conf (Apache
configuration file) to listen on another port.

The second error message means that Apache couldn't install the Windows
Service due to the port 80 is in use.

Hi list
At the end of the Installation of Apache webserver,
i got the following problems.
Now i'm not able to start the server.Pls observe and give me the
solution.very urgent.



1)(OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network
address/port) is normally permitted.  : make_sock: could not bind to address
0.0.0.0:80 no listening sockets available, shutting down Unable to open logs
Note the errors or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit.  11...


2)[Wed Jun 30 15:49:56 2004] [error] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file
specified.  : No installed service named "Apache2".Note the errors or
messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit.  15...
