if you've enabled /server-status or server-info in your httpd.conf file you can see from a
url
eg.  http://server.com/server-status or http://server.com/server-info

#########httpd.conf############

# ExtendedStatus controls whether Apache will generate "full" status
# information (ExtendedStatus On) or just basic information (ExtendedStatus
# Off) when the "server-status" handler is called. The default is Off.
#
ExtendedStatus On

<Location /server-status>
    SetHandler server-status
</Location>

<Location /server-info>
    SetHandler server-info
</Location>

Subject: [users@httpd] How do you determine which apache version you're
running?

Hi,

I'm running redhat 9 with apache2. Apache was installed from the RH9 installation media.
 I know I can look on the CD for the version information, but I was wondering how to tell
which version is actually running from within RH.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lee
