Subject RE: [users@httpd] Segmentation Fault (11)

Sun Solaris 8 64-bit. I am using gcc 3.4.0 could that be an issue? I was
looking at the config.log and saw this:

configure:3400: gcc -v </dev/null >&5
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/3.4.0/specs
Configured with: ../configure --with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as
--with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld --disable-nls
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.4.0
configure:3403: $? = 0
configure:3405: gcc -V </dev/null >&5
gcc: `-V' option must have argument
configure:3408: $? = 1

Should I be using another compiler?

Could it be that you are using the wrong thread library for your OS? Which
OS are you running? Andrew
