Subject [users@httpd] chroot'ing web server
Date Fri, 11 Jun 2004 01:23:54 GMT
Hi,

Can someone point out if chrooting an Apache 2.0.49 installation
is necessary? Is it widely practiced? I haven't read much about
chroot'ing here.

I have searched for documents on it and I do have a book that
tells me, but the web document I read mentioned that with Apache,
it isn't that necessary.

Any clarifications appreciated.

Edmund
