Subject [users@httpd] compiling apache w/ mod_ssl & mod_perl help ?!?
Date Tue, 15 Jun 2004 15:50:02 GMT
Im trying to compile apache w/ mod_perl & mod_ssl on a Solaris 9 machine...by
doing the following

unpack mod_ssl and did from within the mod_ssl dir
./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.27

i then went to mod_perl dir and did
perl Makefile.PL \EVERYTHING=1 \APACHE_SRC=../apache_1.3.27/src \USE_APACI=1
\PREP_HTTPD=1 \DO_HTTPD=1

then did make THIS FAILED with the following error:
LD_RUN_PATH="" cc  -G Leak.o  -o ../blib/arch/auto/Apache/Leak/Leak.so
cc: Leak.o: No such file or directory
cc: no input files
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target
`../blib/arch/auto/Apache/Leak/Leak.so'
Current working directory /export/home/bbailey/webmail/mod_perl-1.29/Leak
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `subdirs'

IM not sure what this means ?? how do i get around this or fix this

thank you for any and all help
Brent Bailey
