Subject [users@httpd] Compile&run Apache with 64 bits
Date Fri, 14 May 2004 11:41:59 GMT

Hi all,

I am trying to compile&run Apache with 64 bits. I tried with these options:

CC="gcc" CFLAGS="-m64"
or
CC="gcc" CFLAGS="-xarch=v9"

Unfortunately I get the same result when I run ./httpd -V:

Architecture 32 bits

Environment:
Apache 2.0.49
Solaris 8 running kernel on 64 bits
gcc 3.3.2

Is there another way?

Thanks.
