Subject Re: [users@httpd] Compiling problem under Solaris 2.5
Date Wed, 26 May 2004 14:08:02 GMT
Hi!...

I've been very busy.... I tried the recomendation of adding
LIBS="-l/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1/3.3.3/libgcc.a"
before and I got problem running configure

---------------------------------------------
checking for chosen layout... Apache
checking for working mkdir -p... yes
checking build system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1
checking host system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1
checking target system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1

Configuring Apache Portable Runtime library ...

checking for APR... reconfig
configuring package in srclib/apr now
checking build system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1
checking host system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1
checking target system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1
Configuring APR library
Platform: sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1
checking for working mkdir -p... yes
APR Version: 0.9.5
checking for chosen layout... apr
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C
compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
configure failed for srclib/apr
---------------------------------------------

This is strange, because I don't have compiling problem in other software.
I saw config.log and it doesn't tell me anything usefull about compiler
problem. File path is correct.

Any help ?
