Problem solved... I based a new module called mod_auth_ini on mod_auth. My
first time using Visual C++ 6 properly :), the result is prefect though!

Thank you for the suggestion, I have used a similar approach on my change
password page, authenticating using my pop3 server.

I didn't see a POP3 module for Apache 2.0.x.  Another alternative is to
compile PHP and then grab some PHP script that does POP3.  Here's a list
of such PHP scripts:
