Subject [users@httpd] mod_perl2/apache2 trouble
Date Fri, 14 May 2004 17:17:27 GMT

I am trying to get mod_perl2 and apache2 to work together, but don't quite
grasp how everything fits together.

I read somewhere that when I output the environment variables on a correctly
setup server, the GATEWAY_INTERFACE would be CGI-PERL something, and not
CGI/1.1 like mine is showing.

Here is my httpd setup:

LoadModule perl_module modules/
PerlModule Apache2
PerlModule Apache::SessionManager
PerlModule ModPerl::Registry
PerlTransHandler Apache::SessionManager
PerlRequire "/usr/apache2/perl/"

<Directory "/var/www/">
	SetHandler modperl
	SetHandler perl-script
	PerlHandler ModPerl::Registry
	PerlOptions +ParseHeaders
    Options FollowSymLinks ExecCGI
    AllowOverride None
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all

Environment Variables (abridged) from a script:

SERVER_SOFTWARE   Apache/2.0.47 (Unix) mod_perl/1.99_13 Perl/v5.8.0
MOD_PERL   mod_perl/1.99_13

Does this look correct?

Thanks in advance,
