Subject [users@httpd] Apache/MySQL/PHP/Persistent Connections
Date Thu, 27 May 2004 04:36:44 GMT
Hi, I have a rather database-intensive website that relies on MySQL. I have
recently set up Apache and continue to receive "Too many connections" errors.
Please help me in getting this issue resolved, as I've tried playing with Apache
and MySQL - but I'm not sure where the cause of the error lives.
Here are some current settings in httpd.conf
KeepAlive On
MaxKeepAliveRequests 1000
KeepAliveTimeout 10
MaxClients 2048
MaxRequestsPerChild 0

In php.ini:
mysql.allow_persistent = On
mysql.max_persistent = -1
mysql.max_links = -1

MySQL
max_connections = 100000
max_user_connections = 100000
max_connect_errors = 999999
