Subject [users@httpd] Strange SSL freakout
Date Tue, 13 Apr 2004 23:18:33 GMT
I am soon going to be migrating my server to a new box. I've had the new box
up and running for some time. Apache with SSL. No problems.

So I want to use my existing CA cert so I don't have to pay for another. So
I copied the files over, repointed the ssl.conf to look at the certs and
restarted. It did not restart, so I rolled it back to the old ssl.conf
(which I had created a backup of). Then I restarted again, and got:

Stopping httpd: [FAILED]
Starting httpd: [Tue Apr 13 16:32:31 2004] [warn] module ssl_module is
already loaded, skipping
[Tue Apr 13 16:32:31 2004] [warn] _default_ VirtualHost overlap on port 443,
the first has precedence
(98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address
no listening sockets available, shutting down

I checked everything, and everything is exactly as it was before I messed
with anything. I'm VERY confused here. Anyone run into something like this?

httpd is down so I don't see how ssl_module could be loaded already.
