Subject [users@httpd] subdirectories
Date Thu, 15 Apr 2004 14:14:54 GMT

I installed apache on RedHat 9.0 with document root set to /var/www/html.
Under this directory, I have a subdirectory named sub.

When I try to access the subdirectory -- http://www.domain.com/sub/
I am not getting through. The server log doesn't even show any entries.
I do have an index.html file under the sub directory.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong? I have the following sections in
my httpd.conf file:
======================
DocumentRoot "/var/www/html"

<Directory />
    Options FollowSymLinks

    AllowOverride None
    Allow from all
</Directory>

<Directory "/var/www/html">

    Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
    Options +Includes
    XBitHack on

    AllowOverride None

    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all

</Directory>
======================
Do I need to list each subdirectory under the root? Or am I missing some
options or attributes?

Thanks,
-kumar
