Subject Re: [users@httpd] Need help in URL redirection

Tried
first attempt was inside
<proxy *>
xxxxxx
</Proxy>
got error in start up , something about a path

so I moved them to just after the </proxy>

went to a desktop using this server as a proxy server and the apache error page came up when
I typed bbfordering.bbfprinting.com

I tried several options

ProxyPass /bbfordering.bbfprinting.com http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf
RroxypassReverse /bbfordering.bbfprinting.com http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf
*** what you suggested ***

then
ProxyPass /bbfordering/ http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf
RroxypassReverse /bbfordering/ http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf

then
ProxyPass /bbfordering.bbfprinting.com/ http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf
RroxypassReverse /bbfordering.bbfprinting.com/ http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf

All had the same result - if this is not the page you expected contact your network admin

basically...u have to give some directives like :

ProxyPass          /bbfordering.bbfprinting.com   http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf
ProxyReversePass /bbfordering.bbfprinting.com   http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf

This has to be done in httpd.conf file...also u have to enable proxy settings in the same
file.

so when someone gives http://bbfordering.bbfprinting.com in their browser, the request will

be redirected to http://devel.responsivesolutions.com/bbf / But the browser will still show
http://bbfordering.bbfprinting.com
as the URL...
