Josh,
 I tried making that change, saved the httpd.conf
file, restarted twice. No luck. I point the browser at
http://localhost/cgi-source and it just prompts me for
user name and password over and over again. I changed
the password just be certain I was entering the
correct password too.

 I was using a short 3 character password. Could that
be a problem?
