AIM has integrated encrption now, and thats what i use.

now that will encrypt AIM convos, never used it don't even use AIM anymore, but SSL is something
a little different, but still Secure. Thanks for the input

  I have no idea if this applies, but i made an encryption key with ssh for AIM. There is
a gui and commandline way. it exports in the .p12 format, does that work?

no idea if this will work.

    Does anyone know of an easy way to create ssl certs and keys in debian? Im having a time
