Subject [users@httpd] Problem with WIN32 Version
Date Fri, 30 Apr 2004 16:10:20 GMT
I've just downloaded the Win32 Binary version of apache 2.0.49. After a
successful install (not installed as a service), I started the apache
daemon from the command line and navigate to the following web page:

http://localhost:8080/cgi-bin/printenv.pl

Rather then interpreting the Perl file with c:\perl\bin\perl.exe, I was
prompted to download the file.

Out of the box, the httpd.conf file identifies /cgi-bin/ as a
"ScriptAlias" folder:

ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/cgi-bin/"

The printenv.pl file includes the interpreter path on the first line:

#!c:/Perl/bin/Perl.exe

any ideas?
