Subject RE: [users@httpd] Images slow to load in CGI script
Date Tue, 09 Mar 2004 14:24:15 GMT
Image *only* in the browser is perfect.

I've tried with the img src pointing to http://foo/bar.gif as well as just
to /bar.gif from within the CGI and both act the same. The bit that's
confusing me now more than anything is that if I copy the resulting HTML
which the CGI generates and put that into a static HTML file, all loads just
fine even with the HTML referencing the img src within the password
protected area.

What happens when you open the image only in the browser? IOW if the cgi
output page has

<img src="http://foo/bar.gif">

and you then point your browser at

http://foo/bar.gif

how does that behave?
