Subject RE: [users@httpd] Can someone help with my log files

Hi all..!

I'm using <Location> in an ssl.conf file to require client side PKI requests
for certain folders.. I'd like to redirect people who don't have them to a
different page or site.. If I use 'require', their browser dies in a 'talk
to the "hand"' kinda way..

<Location /somefolder>
SSLVerifyClient require
SSLVerifyDepth 5

RewriteEngine        on
RewriteCond          %{SSL_CLIENT_CERT} =""
RewriteRule          ^(.*)$ http://www.dodpke.com/public/publicAccess.asp
</Location>

Could really use some suggestions..1

Thanks..!

Thomas

Where the log files are located is specified in the httpd.conf which is the
main configuration file for apache. Until you know it pretty well it is not
a good idea to alter it. I cannot see a reason to edit a logfile. One
usually just wants to read them.
