Subject [users@httpd] Require vs. Optional for verify client certs
Date Mon, 29 Mar 2004 15:34:21 GMT
Hi all..!

I'm using <Location> in an ssl.conf file to require client side PKI requests
for certain folders.. I'd like to redirect people who don't have them to a
different page or site.. If I use 'require', their browser dies in a 'talk
to the "hand"' kinda way..

<Location /somefolder>
SSLVerifyClient require
SSLVerifyDepth 5

RewriteEngine        on
RewriteCond          %{SSL_CLIENT_CERT} =""
RewriteRule          ^(.*)$ http://www.dodpke.com/public/publicAccess.asp
</Location>

Could really use some suggestions..1

Thanks..!

Thomas
