Subject [users@httpd] CGI-call with "path info" - test.cgi$abc?x=1&y=2
Date Thu, 26 Feb 2004 07:24:21 GMT
Hi all, I've to operate CGI calls containing "path info's" (with leading "$") like "test.cgi$abc?x=1&y=2"

Webstar has opened a file "test.cgi" and there I could get "abc" as environment variable.
Apache is searching for a file name "test.cgi$abc".

How can I
a) remove the string "$abc" (a, b, c are variables) from the URL or (better)
b) remove "$abc" and add the variables "abc" to the URL as additional parameters like

test.cgi$abc?x=1&y=2 -> test.cgi?x=1&y=1&z=abc

Thank you in advance
