Subject [users@httpd] help for installing Apache.
Date Wed, 18 Feb 2004 02:09:20 GMT
Dear Sir /Madam,

I installed Apache on Solaris 8. It looked good and I didn't find any error_log or get any
error msg but when I start the server, the system cursor prompt (#) didn't come back. It hang
there. I check daemon using "ps -ef|grep apache" it was there and telnet 127.0.0.1 80, it
was connected. Now how can I tell whether my installaion is successful or not?
thanks for advices.

Jing Jiang.

try moving the .dlls to the modules directory like so:

LoadModule php4_module modules/php4apache2.dll

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .htm .html

I have all the needed .dlls from PHP located there: php4apache2.dll ,
php4isapi.dll , and php4ts.dll
