Subject [users@httpd] apache2 mpm perchild module config
Date Wed, 25 Feb 2004 16:57:05 GMT

We would like to configure our Apache 2 with perchild module, and separate
 the virtual hosts by users.
It is working successfully when we configure a virtual host for one user.
But when we configure more than one virtual hosts for one user, the apache
can't reserve the requests for both virtual hosts.

The QUESTION is, that is it possible or not?

Our configuration file important lines are the following:
<IfModule perchild.c>
NumServers           5
StartThreads         5
MinSpareThreads      5
MaxSpareThreads     10
MaxThreadsPerChild  20
MaxRequestsPerChild  0

ChildPerUserID user1 group1 1
ChildPerUserID user2 group2 1

<VirtualHost xy2>
    ServerName xy1
    AssignUserID user1 group1

<VirtualHost xy2>
    ServerName xy2
    AssignUserID user1 group1

<VirtualHost xy3>
    ServerName xy3
    AssignUserID user2 group2

<VirtualHost xy4>
    ServerName xy4
    AssignUserID user2 group2

So this is the question, that 2 virtual hosts can be assigned for 1 user???

Thank you,
