Subject [users@httpd] .htaccess question - IP blockage

As I mentioned earlier,   I do IP blocking with:

order allow,deny
allow from all
deny from y.y
deny from x.x.x.x
deny from somecompany.com

Is there any way to block an entire subnet, say (for example) "192.168.*", but at the same
time, allow access to a specific host in that net, say "192.168.1.123"?  I've tried all sorts
of  "deny from/allow from" in different order, but can't find a solution.
