Subject [users@httpd] mod_disk_cache + servlets
Date Wed, 28 Jan 2004 15:56:20 GMT

i'm using Apache 2.0.48 as a Proxy with a cache. The Proxy forwards the
requests to a servlet that returns a response. First i was using
mod_mem_cache for caching and this works fine. No i would like to switch to
mod_disk_cache but the servlet responses aren't cached anymore.

In the log file the following message appears: "disk_cache: Could not cache
URL localhost/MyServlet/images/test.gif? [720002]
The servlet will, as you might have guessed, read the gif file and write it
to the HttpServletResponse object.

Is it impossible to cache streamed responses with mod_disk_cache???
