Subject [users@httpd] Certificates for aliases?
Date Sat, 06 Dec 2003 00:00:19 GMT
Hi - I'm still trying to get certificates to work for an ip alias.

>DocumentRoot /path...

Unfortunately this doesn't work. I have:

ServerName alcserv1.psfc.mit.edu:80
...
Listen 198.125.178.44:443
,,,
<VirtualHost 198.125.178.44:80>
      ServerName mail1.psfc.mit.edu
      SSLCertificateFile /usr/local/apache2/conf/mail1.crt
      SSLCertificateKeyFile /usr/local/apache2/conf/mail1.key
      DocumentRoot "/usr/local/apache2"
</VirtualHost>

But if I go to https://mail1.psfc.mit.edu/, it tells me that the
certificate belongs to alcserv1.psfc.mit.edu. I think it's totally
ignoring my VirtualHost command. Any ideas why? Do I need a
NameVirtualHost command?  Thanks.

Mark

P.s. Yes, I did restart httpd.
