Then I'd hate to see your 90% sure ;-)

The apache proxy speaks HTTP/1.1 as of 1.3.23.  (Though that doesn't
necessarily mean it supports every feature of HTTP/1.1.  Since I don't use
the proxy much, I couldn't say.)

Apache as an origin server has been HTTP/1.1 since version 1.2.
